What is Youth Speaker Academy?
Youth Speaker Academy is an initiative founded by Hassan Wadi to help children aged 7-15 develop essential communication skills and overcome stage fright and fear of public speaking. Through interactive lessons, our students learn to craft and deliver impactful speeches, engage their audience, and become efficient leaders. Our unique approach focuses on building their self-esteem and helping them find their voice.

Our 30-day course follows a structured roadmap that ensures your child receives the maximum benefit from the program. Here’s what they’ll learn:
Week 1: Crafting your speech – Students will learn the essential elements of creating a well-crafted speech. They will discover five different ways to start their speech, and how to structure their speech with 80% storytelling and 20% message. Additionally, they will learn the three steps to ending their speech. Lastly, they will learn how to practice their speech/presentation effectively, recording their speech to improve their body language and delivery.
Week 2: Finding your story – Students will learn about the importance of storytelling and how to find their own story. They will learn how to craft a speech, which involves thinking of a story, how to tell the story, and the moral of the story. The week will also cover the importance of storytelling. In addition, students will learn how to find their stories.
Week 3: Delivering your speech – Students will learn about the three golden rules of speaking, which focus on energy and emotion, and being a storyteller. They will also learn about visual and involvement techniques, emphasizing facial expressions and gestures, and outlining their speech. In addition, they will learn Do’s and Don’t on presentation day so they will be fully prepared before their big day.
Week 4: How you can use your talent to create your legacy – Students will learn about the importance of effort/work ethic and natural talent, and why it is crucial to combine both to reach maximum potential. They will be encouraged to find their talents and work hard to perfect them. Students will also learn how to use their talents to create their legacy through hard work and dedication. Additionally, they will be provided with 22 tips for giving a great interview, including the STAR method for answering situation-based questions.

Meet 9 year old student Bushra

Meet Hassan Wadi
Award-winning Expert Youth Trainer & Top 25 Canadian Immigrant
Hassan Wadi is a professional speaker, fitness expert, and a philanthropist.
As a speaker he has spoken at events with upto 60,000 people in attendance, he’s the founder of Youth Speaker Academy, and is a speech competition award-winning speaker.
He is the official Spokesperson and influencer Manager for Human Concern International. Canada’s first and oldest Muslim charity. He is the former President of the City of Mississauga Toastmaster club and is the 2017,2018 and 2019 Division Speech Contest Champion.
As a Fitness expert, he has been recognized as one of the “Top 10 Fitness professionals in Canada” from Canfitpro and is currently a Fitness Recreation Programmer for City of Mississauga.
As a philanthropist, he is heavily involved with charitable activities with HCI and has raised more than 5 million dollars for people in need.
In 2021 Hassan was awarded Covid Hero award by Mayor and Council and was recognized and selected as Canada’s Top 25 Canadian Immigrants by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Hassan placed 1st in 2017, 2018, and 2019 Toastmasters Division Speech contests, beating some of the best speakers in Ontario. He was also the President of the City of Mississauga Toastmasters club where he coached and mentored 25+ Municipal government employees in leadership and public speaking. He was awarded the President Distinguished award for his efforts, an award that was never achieved since the club’s creation 15 years ago.
Hassan also achieved 2nd place in Canada’s largest inspirational speaking competition Speaker Slam with his speech “Just say YES” which was featured on Power of Positivity, one of Facebook’s largest broadcasting and media production companies with over 30 million followers.
Lastly, Hassan was recognized and awarded for his contribution to the field of public speaking and leadership to his community by MPP (Member of Provincial Parliament) Kaleed Rasheed.
